Vivian Laurita Hargrove's Obituary
Vivian Laurita Beck Hargrove, 63, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022, in a local hospital. She was a graduate of Yonkers High School class of 1977. She attended Chattanooga State Community College. Vivian was a member of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was formerly employed with Pioneer Bank, McKee Foods and lastly with Standifer Place and Erlanger Hospital. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Doris Fortson-Batts, Willie and Cora Garth; several uncles and aunts. Survivors include her husband, James Hargrove; sons, Brian (Melisha) Billups of St. Peters, MO, Wendell (Lynn) Fortson, Clifford (Liliana) Billups, and Randolph (Rose) Beck, Jr. of Chattanooga; daughter, Randesha Beck of Chattanooga; stepsons, Kentrial Belk, TaMarcus Smith, James Belk of Columbus, MS, and Rick Warren of Augusta, GA; 29 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; aunts, Wally Fortson and Alice Watson, both of Chattanooga; brother-in-law, Reverend Jessie (Phalena) Austin of Trenton, TN; sisters-in-law, Susan (Joe) Nolan of Indianapolis, IN and Willie Harris of Dyer, TN; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; special devoted friends, James and Marsha Hayes, Rodney (Di’Anna) Billups, Susan Hunter, Minister Greg and Lynn Patterson, Marva Ragland, Bo Pears, Minister Janice Smith, Robbin McKeithen, and many other friends. Bishop Randolph Beck will be the eulogist.
