Vincent Gerard Moorman's Obituary
Vincent Gerard Moorman, 65, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, in the Hospice Care Center. He was born June 24, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio to Lawrence Alan and Helen Moorman. Vincent was a 1978 graduate of Trotwood-Madison High School. He furthered his education by attending Moorehouse College and Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. Vincent was a community activist.
Vincent was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by brother, Marvin Moorman of Louisville, KY; sister, Terri Iriajen of Atlanta, GA; uncles, Jasper Cameron of Arizona, Aaron Cameron, Sr. of Hornlake MS, and Jimmy Lee Cameron of Chattanooga; aunts, Sandra King, Dollie Hamilton, Vella Cameron, all of Chattanooga, Ethel Hopkins of Dallas, TX, and Jeanetta Donnell of Washington, DC; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Vincent will lie-in-state on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 12-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. There will be no service.
