Vincent Gerard Moorman, 65, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, in the Hospice Care Center. He was born June 24, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio to Lawrence Alan and Helen Moorman. Vincent was a 1978 graduate of Trotwood-Madi Read Obituary
Vincent and I attended Trotwood Madison senior high school together from 1975-1978 and dated for a few months, but remained friends. We reconnected through the classmates website in the late 1990s, stayed in touch and would send pictures. We last text on Feb 5th. Vincent will be dearly missed. I met Vince in 2021 when he moved to Chattanooga through my job’s program. He quickly became an active member of our Wellness Partnership Council and served in many capacities. He generously shared his gifts of poetry, public speaking, and artistic expression with the community during numerous outreach efforts.
Through our time working together, he came to call me his spiritual niece. I will always cherish the many fond memories, meaningful conversations, and our weekly prayer calls. I find comfort in knowing he is at peace because of his relationship with Christ.
My heartfelt prayers are with his friends and family during this time.
