So sad to hear about my longtime friend. I first met Thee in the army in Baumholder Germany. He immediately took me under his wing, us both being from Chattanooga. We had great times while in the army partying in Germany. He was the best homie I had there. He left before I did and we promised to hook up back in the world.
When I got out we both met up at a concert in Chattanooga and remained friends throughout our life. It was a pleasure to meet his family and for him to meet mine. True lifetime friends are rare and it was my pleasure to have known him and his family. Prayers sent to all that loved him.

Sending Prayers and condolences to the Leatherwood Family. I have known "Thee", Earl and Ruby since we were small children growing up in the Avondale community. Our Parents were close with their parents going all the way back to Huntsville, AL.Our families have been connected for generations. We were Riverside High Class of 1968 classmates. He and my brother, Ralph were very close friends. To LaShanda, Reginald, Earl, Yamina, Roosevelt, Whitney and the entire Leatherwood , our love and prayers are with you all.
