I just learned of the loss of Tekeia. She was one of the sweetest, kindest, most humble people I have ever known. I was new to Kirkman our Jr. year. She treated me as though I had been her friend our entire lives. We would run into each other over the years after graduation and she was always just as though I had seen her yesterday. I met Tekeia ”KeKe” close to 30 yrs ago at First Tennessee Bank and we became Friends as soon as We both spoke to each other. Her Nephew and my older Son grew up knowing one another through sports and We will giggle at the thought of how we stay connected through our young children knowing each other! Every time I saw her we Would talk like it was yesterday since we last saw/spoke to one another! I’m going to Miss my Friend soft words and affection giggle. Heaven gain a Sweet, kind Soul! 😢🙏🏽❤️ My Deepest Condolences to her Family🙏🏽

I am going to miss my dear friend. She was always there in a time of need, to share a smile with, eat a meal with, and cry a tear with. This is so hard for me to write, I remember KeKe as a little girl with her Mom Gloria, she was such a beautiful young lady and grew up to such a wonderful person. My family shared a lot of fun times with KeKe as well as with her Mom. The fun memories of our times together is helping all of us at this very difficult time.
