Ms. Shirley Ann Parker's Obituary
Shirley Ann Parker, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at her home. She was a 1973 graduate of Howard High School. She was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church. Shirley was a dedicated dietician for Memorial Hospital for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her father, John Taylor and mother, Elizabeth Parker. Survivors include her children, LaTaucha (Larry) Twilley, Tavaris (Stephanie) Elliott, Lisa Parker-Robinson, Aaron Parker, and Jarron Parker, all of Chattanooga. She also left four grandchildren, Kingstunn Elliott, Larrissa Twilley, Marlissa Robinson, and Parker Twilley; brothers, Donald Parker of Chattanooga and Johnny (Theresa) Taylor of Groton, CT; sisters, Brenda Parker (Larry Ashford), Willie Belle (Herbert) McCray, Janet (Willie) Partridge, and Maxine Taylor, all of Chattanooga; uncle, Hosea Woods, Jr. of Chattanooga; aunts, Joyce Fears, Andra Culberson, both of Chattanooga, and Lucille Culberson of Beaufort, SC; special friend, Walter Little; a second family at Memorial Hospital; a host of nephews; nieces; cousins; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Todd Lansden, Sr. as the eulogist. Entombment in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
