All the memorys I have of Roosevelt Barkley are all good ones . My name is Brenda Eller and I had the pleasure of working with him at Hutcheson Hospital. We worked in the kitchen , it was hard work , our bosses were very unfair , we were not treated well . But Roosevelt allways made things better . He was kind, he was helpful , he was encouraging , he was my friend . I thank God I had a gentleman like Roosevelt to help us get through those hard days . He Shurly will be missed ! Godspeed Roosevelt ! 🥲

Praying for the entire family during this difficult season of bereavement. Roosevelt and "Amie Ls Belle" were neighbors and friends of our family for years. May we all reflect on the memories as we now celebrate his life. God is our refuge and strength.Pastor Henrietta Erskine and Family.❤️
BARKLEY FAMILY...You all are in my thoughts ...SORRY for the Families lost.I go back a long way with Roosevelt. I met Roosevelt "years" ago on E Third St in Sam Richardson's palce of business.( UTOPIA ) Never will forget him "suited up" with that big pistol. (Security ?) He had a pretty fast car at the time.Low, behold i ran into him at WHELAND, got to know him. Roosevelt was my boy...STAYED clean...rings on his finger ( s ) He had this Volkswagon Bug that he kept clean!! Roosevelt was a man that that "some" would think that he was what people call STUCK UP, it wasn't that he was doing his job, just "didn't" deal with everybody.Roosevelt was a worker, sometimes he'd come to Wheland in his Earlanger scrubb'sleaned back in that Bug.Roosevelt was my boy...when he like you, you get to know him he's a different person, a likeable person. May he rest in heaven, the family, the FAMILY feels better rather "sooner" than later. HOWARD " DUCK" AKINS "SCRAPMASTER D, FAMILY. WHELAND 1970 - 2002
