Mitchel Allen Tulloss, Sr.'s Obituary
Mitchel Allen Tulloss, Sr., 62, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, July 18, 2025, in a hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by James Pierce, who raised him as his own; his father, Glen Smith; brother, Barry Johnson; father-in-law, Marshall Hanson; and grandparents, Ada and Claude Martin, and Roy and Sophie Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal Tulloss; children, Mitchel Allen Tulloss, II of Nashville, TN and Alisa Tulloss of Grayson, GA; seven grandchildren, Mitchel “MJ”, Holland, Aris, Ari, Azariah, Hezekiah, and Azrael; his mother, Marie Pierce; mother-in-law, Barbara Hanson; siblings, Mary (Kenneth) Hughes, Warrick (Lysa) Tulloss, Carlos (Teresa) Johnson, Candace (David) Rock, Sandra (Howard) Baker, and Ericka (Theodore) Hyatte; in-laws Kevin, Dorine, and Alex Hanson of Albany, NY); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Mitchel will lie-in-state on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel of Chattanooga. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Bishop Willie V. Sutton, Jr. as the Eulogist. Burial in Chattanooga National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home of Chattanooga, Inc.
