Michael Antonio Pasley's Obituary
Michael Antonio Pasley, 60, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on July 30, 1965, to Betty Raye Jackson and Charlie Pasley. He was the middle son of Betty. Michael was educated in the Chattanooga Public Schools, where he attended Brainard High School. After high school, he began his career working for Brach Candy. Micheal later obtained his CDL license, dedicating more than 30 years to driving 18-wheelers across the country. He worked faithfully for companies such as Stephen’s Trucking, La-Z-Boy, and Shaw Carpet.
Michael’s love for travel extended beyond the highways. He earned his aviation license, fulfilling a lifelong interest in flight, allowing him to pilot private aircrafts.
Michael was a member of Pilgrim Rock Baptist Church, where he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age, a foundation of faith that remained an important part of his life.
Michael was the loving and devoted father of Michelle Raye Pasley. As a father, Michael found his greatest joy in his daughter, who was his crown jewel, deeply loved, and he was very protective of her.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Raye Jackson and Charlie Pasley; and his sister, Ruth Walker. Micheal leaves to forever cherish his memory his loving family, including his daughter, Michelle Raye Pasley; his brothers, Charles Pitts (Pamela) of St. Petersburg, FL and Emory Quinn Jackson of Chattanooga; sister, Vickie Cooper of Chattanooga. He was a deeply loving uncle to his cherished nephews and nieces—Charles Jr., Chandler, Courtney, Antonio Raye, Christopher, James, Destiny Raye (preceded in death), Jeffery, Jordan, Devontay, Donovan, and Deondre—and was further blessed with great-nieces and great-nephews, Yael, Cameron, Emilia, and Carter, all of whom he held close to his heart. Micheal’s brothers, sister, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, along with countless friends who were touched by his kindness and will carry his memory forward with honor.
Michael will be remembered for his quiet strength, adventurous spirit, and his big, caring heart that made others feel valued, protected, and loved.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home.
