May our heavenly father keep you and your family in perfect peace. The bible tells us that weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Rev. Davis and I will continue to keep you lifted up in prayer.. Dr. Wesley and Dr. Geraline Davis Greater Second Baptist Church, pastor Dr. Steve Caudle.
My Dear Sister,
I've struggled with what to say because there's so much to be said. I must start by saying "Thank You". Thanks for not only being my sister, but a mother figure to me and my children as well. I honestly don't know how I would have made it when my kids were younger and you and Mom stepped in and provided that much needed maternal side that as a man I could not provide. Thanks for your spiritual gift that blessed me in so many ways. I never had to call you when something was wrong because you would beat me to it by picking up whatever I was struggling with mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
You are now absent from the body and present with the Lord. Today, you have the ability to not only see our beginning, you are also able to see what lies ahead as you cheer us on in that great cloud of witnesses. I can only ask that you watch over us from heaven the way you did on earth.
I Miss You Sister
I will Always Love You Sister
I will Always Cherish the Bond we Share
Though my heart is truly heavy and I find myself thinking about you constantly, I cannot be selfish:
You no longer have to worry about the challenges that come with aging.
You no longer have to use your walker and your oxygen when we took you somewhere. You no longer have to worry about those things anymore.
You are now enjoying the days of your youth once again. You are now with your husband Burt, our mother, father, Druscilla, David, your best friend Deniece, Aunt Mary, Uncle Joe, Foxy, Hilda and so many more. Sister, you are enjoying heaven.
I love you and miss you and is forever grateful to God that your transition from earth to glory did not involve suffering. You left here doing something you loved.
You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten.
With All My Love.
Your Brother,
Elton
