Jesse L. Pope's Obituary
Jesse Léon Pope, 33, of Alabama, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in Selma, Alabama. Jesse was homeschooled and graduated from Aaron Academy in 2009. After moving to Gallatin, TN, he went on to attend Volunteer State Community College to further his education. During his time in Gallatin, he was a member of the West Eastland Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his aunt, Nancy E. Pope; maternal grandfather, Namon Dansby; maternal grandmother, Lois Thelma Dansby; paternal grandfather, William Carl Pope; paternal grandmother, Arlene Janet Pope; elder brother, William Craig Pope. To cherish his memory, he leaves his partner, Quarneshia Sharae Hunter; sons, Kamarian Zachariah Leon Hunter, and Cornelius Xavier Hunter; daughter Amina Aileen Hunter all of Selma, AL; father, Stephen Craig Pope of Huntingdon, TN; mother, Delilah Ailene Pope of Conway, AR; brothers, Frank Hubert Watkins of Chattanooga, James (Angelina) Douglas Pope of Louisville, KY, and Namon Barnes Pope of Nashville, TN; sister, Delilah Mbili Pope of Fort Smith, AR; uncles, Charles (Sharron) Namon Dansby of Upper Marlboro, MD, Bruce (Pearl) Wayne Pope of Phoenix, AZ, and Robert Leon Dansby of Chattanooga; aunt, Janet Amelia Pope-Givens of Altadena, CA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
