I had the honor of meeting Pastor Toney when he pastored in Athens, TN. He and his wife were just the best people and the absolute cutest couple ever. I just loved them. I never forgot them. They were my favorite! He was such a man of integrity. My condolences to his family. Rest in Paradise Pastor Toney.
My sincere condolences to the entire Toney family. May God bless you all.

Rev. Toney has been a part of my life every since i was born. He has not only been my pastor he has also been family. Rev. Toney has taught me so much in life. He was a true example of walking by faith. He baptized me. He used to come to my grandmother's house every first sunday to bring communion and have a hallelujah good time singing, praying, and praising the Lord's name. Rev Toney lives in my mind and heart forever. Words cannot express how much he has meant to me and my family. I love you Rev. Toney and the entire Toney family. I am only one call away. Rev. Toney take your deserving flight!
Love always, Tyler Mills
On behalf of the Tennessee Synod, we send our love and prayers to the family of the late Pastor Emeritus Harris Toney. His journey on this side has finished and he finished as a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will miss him, but we are glad he is going to a place prepared for him by Jesus. We look forward to our reunion with him one day when Jesus calls us.
