Edward Lewis' Obituary
Edward "Ed" Lewis was born November 7, 1947, in Chattanooga Tennessee. Edward passed away on May 22, 2026. Although Edward battled various illnesses in recent years, when asked, "How are you doing?" he would always reply, "I'm good". He rarely complained about how he truly felt.
After graduating from Howard High School in 1966, he served in the Military, upon completion of his service he attended Chattanooga State Technical Community College and then graduated from Chattanooga Area Vocation School of Electronic Occupation. Edward and his mother shared a special relationship, they were baptized together as Jehovah's Witnesses on June 15, 1991. He also served as a ministerial servant in the Lookout (English) Congregation and American Sign Language Congregation for many years. When given parts on the service meeting, he worked very hard on his assignments, even when he was not feeling well, he was always determined to carry out his assignments. Ed was well loved by many and was always known for his great sense of humor and his warm, welcoming smile.
Edward enjoyed many things such as fishing, horseback riding, barbering, winemaking, gardening, motorcycling, drawing and carpentry, but his greatest passion was sharing Bible truth with his family.
