My Condolences to the family. I used to live up the street from Ms. Doris and Mr. Lynn when they lived on 26th street. I lived up the hill on 12th ave and used to be outside with her grandsons, mostly Dominic but also Robert and Peedee. I remember she used to sell frozens and everything. Those were good times. Her and Lynn were good people. Mr. Lynn was a cool cat, i remember he used to be outside washing his car and i used to think, "man ima be taking care of my ride just like that when i get older." He would have the music playin, and just be out there shining that whip right on up lol, and when he was done he might sit on the porch and impart some kind of knowledge upon us boys, while the smell of whatever Ms. Doris may have been cooking was radiating out the kitchen and right on out the front door (and it was always smelling GOOD too! Man, id like to go back to those times. If only we all knew then what we know now.
RIP to Mr. Doris and Mr. Lynn
