Dave and my dad (Rodney)were really good friends. He became a part of my life at an early age. I always knew he was around when I would hear his big laugh and I remember him telling his jokes and stories of things he encountered while being at work.My fondest memory is when I became old enough to go to parties and I ended up running into him and my dad lol they were my bodyguards all night. We went to City Cafe Diner ate wings and cake and that night he poured into me as if I was his own and for that I am grateful. He will always be my uncle Dave no matter the lifetime.May he continue to rest peacefully.

My sincerest condolences to the Family and Friends of David. I'm sending hugs and prayers to you during this hard time you're encountering.

He will be missed! 🙏🏾 - Patrice “Minnie”

I remember when I first went out for the football team at Tyner and after several practices, I just was not getting how the sport worked. The defense had enough of my blundering and one of them started a fight with me. I thoroughly beat up the 1st 2nd and 3rd string and heard David laughing on the sideline the entire time. He was telling them they could beat me at football but never at fighting because he knew about it from our childhood. He'll be missed. Much love to the family.
Praying that God will continue to strengthen and keep you all in perfect peace if your mind is stayed on him...during this difficult season of bereavement. He will never leave nor forsake us. Rev.Henrietta Erskine-SMBC
