Charles was very special to my family. He befriended my mom, Rhonda, on Ft. Bragg in the early/mid 90s when I was an infant and remained one of her closest friends until she passed in Nov 2022. He was a like an uncle to us children. I will forever remember his deep laugh as him and my mother would catch up over our kitchen table, as well as his love for his mother. He was dearly loved! I am very sad to hear of his passing, and I offer the deepest of condolences to his family and other friends.
