Angela Jeanene Grant's Obituary
Angela Jeanene Williams Grant, 48, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025, in a local hospital. She was born October 19, 1977, in Bristol, Tennessee to Richard Williams, Jr. and the late Kathryn Pace Williams. She was the third and youngest child born to this union.
Angela was a 1995 graduate of Bristol Tennessee High School, where she was in the school band from 1992-1995. She continued her education at Chattanooga State Community College. She was employed at Chattanooga College Medical, Dental, and Technical Careers, Inc. Angela loved to read, shop and spend time with her family. She will truly be missed.
Angela was preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn Williams; brother, David Williams; grandmother, Patsy Williams; grandmother, Tecora Pace; grandfather, Richard Williams, Sr.; and niece, Kaitlyn Anderson.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Bennie Grant, III; sons, Jaylen Akins and Bryson Grant; father, Richard Williams, Jr.; brother, Scotty (Patty) Williams; mother-in-law, Joyce Grant Finley; father-in-law, Bennie Grant, Jr.; sister-in-law, Latash Grant; brothers-in-law, Montrell Grant and Demetré Taylor; childhood friend, Nicole Mosley-Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Angela will lie-in-state on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at New Anointing Pure Holiness Church of God. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon with Joseph Hardaway officiating and Dr. Eric Sims as the Eulogist. Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home of Chattanooga, Inc.
