Zackery Jay Welcher, “Gucci”, 31, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at his residence. He was a 2008 graduate of Tyner High School. He attended Chattanooga State and was a member of Faith In Christ Church. Survivors include his son, Zackariah Welcher; baby on the way, Zariah Marie Welcher; mother, Sherrie Tanksley (Billy Robinson); sisters, Amanda Welcher, Alexis Tanksley and DaQuida Stoudemire; father, Steven Welcher; uncle, General Welcher, Jr. all of Chattanooga; aunt, Marie Welcher Sales of Huntsville, AL and Oneka Lowe; girlfriend, Tomeshia Maddox of Chattanooga; a host of cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Janice Schreane Smith will serve as the eulogist.
