Yvonne Sylvesta Westfield's Obituary
Yvonne Sylvesta Ervin Westfield, 77, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at her residence. She attended Howard High and retired from Parkridge Medical Center after more than four decades of service. She was a dedicated member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully on the Mother’s Board and Women’s Ministry. Yvonne was preceded in death by her father, Doc Ervin; mother, Ethelena Ervin Daniel; brothers, James, Walter Doc, Willie Elbert, Robert, Jr., and Michael; son-in-law, Dennis Lyle, Sr. Survivors include her son, Reverend Dr. Andre (Ana) Westfield of Villa Rica, GA; daughter and caregiver, Sharon Westfield Lyle of Harrison, TN; grandsons, Andre (Christina) Westfield, Jr. of Atlanta, GA and Dennis Lyle, Jr. of Cookeville, TN; granddaughters, Ariel Yvonne Westfield (Brandon) of Chattanooga and Victoria Westfield of Atlanta; fifteen great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Ervin; sisters, Deborah (Victor) Allen and Gracelia Moore; dear cousin, Carrie Beck; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Alonzo Noble is the officiant and Pastor Alexander Bullard, Sr. is the eulogist.
