Yolanda Michele Allen-Hunter's Obituary
Yolanda Michele Allen-Hunter, 57, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at her residence. She was educated in the Chattanooga Public Schools and was a graduate of City High School. Yolanda was employed by Early Childhood Development as a Youth Instructor.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Allen; and sisters, Angela Allen and LaKeesha Davis.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Raymond Hunter, Jr.; son, Raymond Dionte Hunter; stepson, Raymond A. Hunter; daughters, Raylanda Hunter and Rayneika Hunter, all of Chattanooga; stepdaughter, LaKetra Marisha Hunter of Memphis, TN; 5 grandchildren; mother, Ruth Stewart; brothers, Jerry (Courtney) Allen, Terrance (Demetra) Allen, and Brian (Tanisha Reed) Allen, all of Chattanooga; sisters, Tracy Allen (William) Brown, Kia Allen (Aaron) Owens, Jerri Allen, Latonya Allen Williams, and Belinda Grayson, all of Chattanooga; a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Yolanda will lie-in-state on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon in the Chapel. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
