Winifred Johnson's Obituary
Winifred Johnson, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 in a local hospital. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on April 4, 1951. Winifred was a 1968 graduate of Riverside High School. She was a devoted member of Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Edna Mae Carter Jennings and Willie C Johnson. Survivors include her three children, Lisa Williams (Thomas), Jocelyn Johnson, and Nicholle (Clevis) Lofties; five siblings, eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Pastor Lance Dorsey will serve as the eulogist. We respectfully request that all current mandates set forth by the CDC and Hamilton County Health Department be observed. This includes “social distancing” and wearing of masks at all times while on the premises and during the service.
