Willie James Ross, Sr.'s Obituary
Willie James Ross, Sr., 67, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 in a Nashville, Tennessee hospital. He was a 1971 graduate of Riverside High School. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and Army. Willie was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Ross and Matilda Smith; brothers, Aaron Ross, Earnest James Ross, K’mark Ross, and Reuben Ross; and sister, Cassandra Foster. Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Theresa McMillon Ross; sons, Willie Ross, Jr., of Clarksville, TN, Timothy Johnson of Chattanooga, Roderick (Amanda) McMillon of Cleveland, TN, Atawon (KeeKee) McMillon of Atlanta, GA, and Lorenzo McMillon of Cleveland; daughter, Linda Ross of Murfreesboro, TN; sixteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; stepmother, Ruby Davis; brother, Kenneth Ross; sisters, Susie (Thomas) McClarty, Fannie (David) Cooper, all of Chattanooga, and Jeanette Harris of Lewisburg, TN; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Bishop Kevin Adams, Sr. will serve as the eulogist.
