William Stanley Westmoreland's Obituary
Stanley Westmoreland, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at his residence. He was born April 20, 1961 in Bridgeport, Alabama. He was affectionately called “Stanley” by his family and friends.
Stanley was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Westmoreland Rollins; brother, Jimmy Westmoreland; and father, Roosevelt Westmoreland. Survivors include his brothers, Ronald Moore, Jerry Don Cartwright, both of Chattanooga, and Robert Allen Westmoreland of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Elizabeth (Bobby) Jackson of Lafayette, GA, Gail (Colin) Gabhart of Murfreesboro, TN, and Carol (Benji) Ross of Rome, GA; aunts, Bobbie Bradford of Lawrenceville, GA and Sherry Temple of New Smyrna Beach, FL; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Stanley will lie-in-state on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the Chapel. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
