Wayne E. Corbin's Obituary
Wayne E. Corbin, 67, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, in a healthcare center in Erin, Tennessee. He graduated from Howard High School class of 1974. Wayne attended and was a member of New Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church. He served his country by joining the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his mother, Cora Corbin; sisters, Kimberly Corbin and Francene Corbin; father, Grover Corbin, Jr.; grandmothers, Lou Edna Corbin and Jessie Johnson; grandfathers, Grover Corbin, Sr. and John A. Johnson, Sr. Survivors include brother, Terry (Lenora) Corbin of Ooltewah, TN; sisters, Beverly Muse and Annette Corbin, both of Chattanooga; aunt, Mildred Kelly of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Wayne will lie-in-state on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Terrance Hannah giving words of comfort.
