Waymon “Buck” Jackson, Jr., 87, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 at his residence. He was employed by L.T.V. Steel and retired after 38 years. Waymon was a faithful member of Miracle Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee. He was preceded in death by his father, Waymon Jackson, Sr.; mothers, Ella Mae Jackson and Bessie Jackson; sisters, Geraldine Myers and Marion Sanders; daughters, Janet Jackson, Jill Moreland, and Felecia Petty; sons, Wayne Jackson and Telly Jackson; grandson, Jacquard Petty. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Nancy Carol Jackson; sons, Antinio (Terri Lynn) Petty and Frankie Petty, both of Chattanooga; daughters, Venita Jackson (Yaw) Gyimah of Rosharon, TX, Denise Jackson of Cleveland, OH, Shawana Burney of Chattanooga, and Tracy Letwell of Cleveland, OH; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; brother, Lorenzo Jackson; sister, Sandy Jean Jackson, both of Boston, MA; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; best friend, Robert Tipton; other relatives and friends. Pastor Kelvert Scruggs will be the eulogist.
