Wanda Buck's Obituary
Wanda Buck, 73, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wanda Marie Finley Buck, a loving mother and grandmother, devoted sister, and cherished friend. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and close friends. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, David Finley, Sr. and Celastine Myles; sister, Carolyn Elaine Finley; brothers, Carlton Ross and David Finley, Jr. Reflecting those precious memories are her loving daughters, Tonya (Edward) Walker and LaShandra (Eric, Sr.) Rivers; grandchildren, DeQuan Duke, JaVaughn Craig, Anthony Rowland, Eric Rivers, Jr., Kayla Rivers, Erica (Michael) Rivers-Dismuke, and Christopher Rivers; great-grandchildren, Eli, Malachi, Andrew, Christian, Summer, Jalen, and Devin; sisters Sara (Charles) Ford, Sonia (Jerry) Copeny, Chattanooga, Laurel Buttram, Franklin, Tennessee; brothers, Edwin Alan Finley, Leonard Ross, and Joseph Knox, Chattanooga; uncle, Rev. Grant Harris. She is loved by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Wanda will be dearly missed by her companion, Gregory Varnell. Wanda will lie-in-state on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Leonard Ross as the eulogist. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
