Vivian Ann Martin's Obituary
Vivian Ann Martin, a cherished resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 25th, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on Saturday, June 19th, 1954, in the beautiful island city of Honolulu, Hawaii, Vivian lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and a loving spirit.
A proud alumna of Leilehua High School, Class of 1972. Vivian worked at Suburban Manufacturing, where she left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike.
Deeply rooted in her faith and community, Vivian was a member of the Women's Bible Study Group at First Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga. She found joy in the simplest of pleasures: watching "The Price Is Right" and "Family Feud," knitting, crocheting, and making blankets. Vivian had an innate gift for helping others, always willing to extend a hand to those in need.
She was preceded in death by her father, Andy Trochez; mother, Consuelita Bachiller Turner; sister, Valerie Swain, leaving a legacy of love that will endure through her family and friends. Vivian’s warm and generous nature leaves behind fond memories cherished by her sons, Chad Trochez of Shelbyville, TN, Tyrell Wilkerson, Bryant J. Martin Jr. both of Chattanooga, and Quentin (Kanetha) Martin of Murfreesboro, TN; 10 grandchildren; brother, Howard Trochez of Wahiawa-Kona, HI; sisters, Mary Trochez (Steven) Albrecht of Kona, HI, and Janet Trochez (Carl) Brinkley of Fayetteville, NC; uncle, Domingo (Margie) Bachiller, Sr. of Hilo, HI; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She will lie-In-state on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel, where Pastor Gabriel N.E. Fluhrer to deliver a heartfelt eulogy celebrating Vivian’s life.
Vivian Ann Martin will be eternally remembered for her unwavering faith, compassion, and the selfless love she gave to all those around her. She will be deeply missed but forever imprinted in the hearts of those who knew her.
