Virgil Lebron Hayes' Obituary
Virgil Lebron Hayes, 62, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020. He was a 1976 graduate of Howard High School. Virgil was employed by Pilgrim’s Pride. He was the President of the United Steelworkers Local 15120 and a member of the Chattanooga Area Labor Council. Virgil was preceded in death by his brother, Jonathan Hayes. Survivors include his stepson, Donyel Smith; mother, Lucille Hayes, both of Chattanooga; brother, Thomas C. Hayes of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Wanda Hayes, Vanessa Thompson, Sheila (Harold) Ferrell, Tonya Hayes, and Teresa Moses, all of Chattanooga; a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
