Villanueva Dave Elder's Obituary
Villanueva Dave Elder, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, in the Hospice Care Center. He was employed by Dupont for many years. Villanueva was preceded in death by his parents, John B. Elder, Sr. and Mary J. Elder; five siblings, Lavada J. Elder Brown, John B. Elder, Jr., Alice C. Elder, Johnnie Mae Elder Jones, and Alice Ann McGowan. Survivors include two daughters, Crystal Elder and Chasity Elder, both of Chattanooga; one grandson; brother, William O. Elder of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Villanueva will lie-in-state on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Ron B. Cook, Sr. giving words of comfort.
