Vanessa Williams, 64, of Chattanooga, departed this life on Monday, January 8, 2024, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Mae Williams; father, Richard C. Williams, Jr; sisters, Theresa Ann Williams, Joceyln Claire Williams, and Mary C. Twilley; brother, Richard Williams (Bullet); maternal grandparents, Richard Lee Jenkins and Jessie Mae Jenkins; paternal grandparents, Richard C. Williams and Maurice (Marie) Williams Foster; uncle, Leo Foster; aunt, Lowenstein Smith, and Herman Dennis Jenkins. Survivors include sisters, Lathetta Mae Havis and Tyna D. Dixon; brother, Ollice Aaron Williams, all of Chattanooga; uncles, Robert L. Jenkins, Johnny C. Jenkins, and Walter Williams; five nieces, four nephews; cousins; a very close friend, Ellen Hughey; Erlanger (Sodexo) Hospital co-workers; other relatives and friends. Vanessa will lie-in-state on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial in Highland Memorial Gardens.
