Valorie Strickland's Obituary
Valorie Strickland, 60, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023, in a local hospital. She was a graduate of Riverside High School. Valorie was a member of Greater Tucker Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Geneva Strickland, Sr.; daughter, Gabriel Hughley; brothers, Herbert Strickland and Harold Clarence Strickland, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Quintana (Adrain) Samples; grandchildren, Aa’Darian Samples, Jy’Rese Samples, and Avori Samples; brothers, Alonzo (Tracy) Strickland and James Strickland; sisters, Genella Strickland, Deborah Fay Wilson, Brenda Avery, Audriana Makato and Diane Wilcox; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Gary Hathaway will serve as the eulogist.
