Valerie Maples Roush's Obituary
Valerie Maples Roush, 63, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022. She was a 1977 graduate of Chattanooga High School. Valerie attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ooltewah. Valerie loved her family and spending time with nature. She always had a big smile and was willing to help others. She will be dearly missed. Valerie was preceded in death by her husband, William Roush; mother, Veanna Bugg; grandparents, Rojesden and Lillian Bugg, and Walter and Georgia Mae Maples, Sr. Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Bones of Chattanooga; devoted nephews, D’Von (Jaquetta) Maples and Walter Dewayne Maples; three grandchildren; father, Walter (Marie) Maples, Jr. of Chattanooga; brothers, Anthony Maples, Walter (Brenda) Maples, III, (twin) Gregory Maples, Larry Fuqua, Carlos Crutcher, and Ronnie Jones, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Pastor Dr. Ernest Reid, Jr. is the eulogist.
