Valerie Regina Myers' Obituary
Valerie Regina Myers, 70, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020 in the Hospice Care Center. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of New Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Howard High School Class of 1967 and attended Tuskegee Institute. Valerie also attended Bronx Community College, NY receiving her license as a Registered Nurse. She served as a nurse in Chattanooga and New York, where she spent 25 years at Montefiore Medical Hospital in the Bronx’s. After 31 years in the nursing field, Valeria retired and recently moved back to Chattanooga. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Avis Myers; grandparents, William and Cedella Robinson; brother, Floyd Myers, Jr.; aunt, Gladys Oden. Valerie leaves to cherish her memory to celebrate her life a devoted son, Courtney Myers; loving aunt, Greather Tinker; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, godchildren; other relatives and friends.
