Tremayne Montrell Kidd's Obituary
Tremayne Montrell Kidd, 47, of Chattanooga, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, February 8, 2025. He was born July 2, 1977 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was educated in the Chattanooga Public School System and graduated from Howard High School. He obtained several degrees in ministry. Tremayne had a beautiful smile that charmed everyone and a personality like no other. He was family oriented and a protector of those he loved. Tremayne was preceded in death by his son, Keshawn Kidd; brother, Cornelius Halfacre; father, Delano Halfacre, Sr.; grandparents, Bloice and Thelma Kidd. Cherishing his memories are his sons, Jaylin Kidd, Jacob Kidd, Caden Kidd, Levi Kidd, Cameron Tarpkin, and Braden Tarpkin; daughters, Jaiden Tarpkin and Lillian Kidd; stepdaughter, Baynesha Bradley; grandson, Kadan Kidd; mother, Marsha A. Kidd; brothers, Kevin Kidd, Marcus Kidd, Christopher Halfacre, and Delano Halfacre, Jr.; sisters, Tiffany Halfacre and Keedra Nance; aunts, Beletha Henderson and Hattie Halfacre; uncles, Clay Mason, Ricky Halfacre, and Willie Halfacre; special people, life partner, Danyelle Nik’kole Calloway, Kelianna Jarrett, Comesha King, Charlene Davenport, and Shiquitta Tarpkin; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Tremayne will lie-in-state on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 12:30-5:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 12 noon in the chapel with Pastor Ron B. Cook, Sr. as the Eulogist. Burial in Highland Memorial Gardens.
