Trecia Denise Hinton's Obituary
Trecia Denise Hinton, 53, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, in a local hospital. She attended Tyner Academy. She was a member of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Trecia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary and Scott Jones, Chester and Vera Hinton; daughter, Shawnice Hinton; son, LaDarrius Hinton; and nephew, Marcus Hinton. Survivors include her sons, Michael Hinton, Sr., Brandon Grimes, Sr., and ShonDarius Hinton, all of Chattanooga; daughters, Keira Fitch and Erica Hinton, both of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Michael Hinton, Jr., Vanzale Hinton, Kortez Kennamore, Legacy Hinton, and Brandon Grimes, Jr.; father, Melvin Hinton, Sr. of Kensington, GA; mother, Glenda Hinton of Chattanooga; brother, Melvin Hinton, Jr. of Summerville, GA; sisters, Jerian Bledsoe and Denise Petite, both of Chattanooga; niece, Jasmine Hinton; nephew, Cory Hinton a host of cousins; other relatives and friends. Trecia will lie-in-state on Monday, July 24, 2023, from 12:30-5:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East with Pastor Ronald B. Cook, Sr. as the eulogist.
