Anthony Ray Taylor's Obituary
Anthony "Tony" Taylor, 66, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025, at his residence. He was the oldest of 3 children born to Sara Marie Johnson on May 10, 1958. Tony was a graduate of Kirkman High School, where he played football.
Tony was an employee of Shaw Industry of Dalton, Georgia for many years and ventured out to his own business in Entrepreneurship Remodeling Homes. Tony married Luvenia Newson and shared 31 years of marriage. They both served at the Lookout Mountain Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors who cherish his memories include his mother, Sara M. Johnson; sister, Allison Taylor, both of Chattanooga; brother, Gary (Lisa) Taylor of Nashville, TN; first cousins, Gail Mikes, Glennis Golson, Linda Daniels, and Micheal Robinson; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Anthony will lie-in-state on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 9- 5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service.
