Tommie Lee Winston, 91, formerly of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021, in a care home facility in Concord, California. She was formerly a secretary at the Tri-County Hospital in Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mamie Pasley; father, Luther Hawkins; brothers, T.W. Hawkins, Sidney Hawkins, and Herbert Hawkins; sister, Mary Bradford. Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Robert R. Winston, Sr.; son, Robert R. Winston, Jr. of Vallejo, CA; daughters, Paulette Rouse and Virginia G. Winston, both of Richmond, CA; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Brother John R. Taylor, Sr. will serve as the eulogist.
