Timothy L. Keith Sr.'s Obituary
Timothy LaVaughn Keith, Sr., “DID THAT”, 52, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, September 2, 2022, at his residence. He was born on December 14, 1969, in Chattanooga. He attended Brainerd High School as well as Chattanooga State Community College. He served his country proud as a United States Marine, having served in Desert Storm. He received Combat Action Medal, National Defense Medal and Ribbon, and many more. Keith was formerly employed as a conductor at Norfolk Southern Railroad. Keith accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Pastor Harold K. Lester at Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church and later spent many years at Olivet Baptist Church. All the kids knew and loved Mr. Keith the (school bus driver). Many knew him from the East Ridge Flea Market. Keith was preceded in death by his great-great-aunt, Nanny; grandmothers; Bessie M. Smith and Mattie L. Keith; grandfathers, Pascal L. Smith and Cleveland “Hodo” Keith; father, Jerome Keith; son, James C. Stallion Keith; and stepfather, Johnny Heard. Keith leaves to cherish his memories: fiancée, Ahquisha “Quee Keith” Young; sons, Marquist (Daria) Keith and Timothy L. Keith Jr.; daughter, Timeka (RJ) Kemp; mother, Patsy Heard, all of Chattanooga; 16 grandchildren; stepmother, Shelia Keith of Chattanooga; brothers, Brian Cowan of Soddy Daisy, Jerome “JC” Keith, and Mitchell “Shun Jay” T. Edwards both of Chattanooga; sisters, Chavon (Kenneth) Wilson of Nashville, TN, Natasha (Kevin) Roulston of Knoxville, TN, Tamicia (Shondrick) Stephens, Khadijah Keith, Mary Hall, Nkenge (Louis) Simpson, all of Chattanooga; stepbrothers, John A. (Tammy) Heard and Roger (Genora) Heard; uncle, James (Alice) Keith of Chattanooga; honorary daughter, Cya Towels; devoted cousin, Terry (Debbie) Heard; best friend, Aaron Smiley; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
