Thomas Earl Stallings' Obituary
Thomas Earl Stallings, 76, of Chattanooga, left his earthly home on Monday, April 18, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was a graduate of Howard High School. Thomas was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He was a tenured employee of Combustion Engineering and the Mountain City Club. Thomas began a successful career with the U.S. Postal Service where he worked until retirement. He was a member of St Elmo Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Thomas was preceded in death by his mother, Earlean B. White; father, Henry Stallings; and grandson, Rodney Maurice Hill. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mrs. Carolyn Louise Stallings; brother, Curtis Stallings, Sr.; sons, Rodney (Sonya) Hill, Sr. of Adairsville, GA, Steven (Roshanna) Stallings, Sr., and Jamar Moss of Chattanooga; daughter, Kendra (Bryan) Singleton of Ooltewah, TN; eight grandchildren, Rodney Jr., Clifford Hill, Steven, Jr., Stephanie Stallings, Alaina Stallings, Alvin Smith, Ashton Smith, and Maurice Smith; ten great-grandchildren; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Pastor Billy Church is the eulogist.
