Thomas Jerome Simpson's Obituary
Thomas Jerome Simpson, 63, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 in a Nashville, Tennessee hospital. He was a graduate of Riverside High School. Thomas attended Olivet Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Goree Simpson; sisters, Annie Brown and Emma Long; uncle, Rufus Goree, Jr.; nephew, Roland Simpson; niece, Demetrias Johnson; and aunt, Virginia Brooks. Survivors include his sons, Antonio Percy of Atlanta, GA, Thomas Frazier of Sarasota, FL, and Reginald (Clarissa) Dowdy, Jr. of Chattanooga; daughter, Jasmine Simpson of Chattanooga; two grandchildren; brothers, Rueben and Darryl; sisters, Alice, Ellen, Yvonne, Linda, Patricia, Evelina, and Louvina; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Pastor Randy Jacks will serve as the eulogist.
