Thomas Joseph “Joe” Davenport, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Thomas Davenport, IV and brother, Orlandus Metcalf. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Mildred Davenport; son, Thomas Davenport III of Chattanooga; daughters, Theresa (Judson) Odom of Chattanooga and Yvonne Taylor of East Point, GA; 3 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a host of other relatives and friends.
