Terry Cavanaugh James' Obituary
Terry Cavanaugh James, 64, of Chattanooga, transitioned this life on Saturday, December 12, 2020 in a local hospital. He was a 1975 graduate of Riverside High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse James, Jr. and Bertha Foster; brother, Gary James; sister, Karen Holland; and best friend, Herbert Strickland. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Sophelia James; daughters, Brandy (Clyde) Parker, Stephanie (Dennis) Bell, Terri (Kenneth) Cameron, all of Chattanooga, and Arie (Tavaros) Herring of Sacramento, CA; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Sharon (Gary) Howard and Latoya Foster; devoted friend, Warren Hines; a host of other relatives and friends. Brother John Taylor, Sr. will serve as the eulogist.
