Terry Lebron Fuqua Sr.'s Obituary
Terry Lebron Fuqua, Sr., 66, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 in the Hospice Care Center He was a proud 1972 graduate of Riverside High School. He retired from the City of Chattanooga Public Works Department after 45 years of dedicated service. While employed with Public Works, he accomplished certification in Employment and Labor Law, Management and Supervisory-Essential Functions and Construction of City Roads Machine Operations. Terry also had an unwavering commitment to First Lutheran Church for 50 years. He was a humble and gracious being, much loved by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Moles; grandmother, Lucinda Ware; grandfather, Willie Fuqua; aunts, Daisy Roberts and Eloise Griffin; uncles, Willie Fuqua, Thomas Fuqua, Charles Fuqua, and James Ware; and brother-in-law, Robert Daniels. Survivors include his loving wife, Carolyn D. Fuqua; son, Terry Fuqua-Hudson; daughters, Iris Butts of Gainesville, GA, Sharon Grayson, Lisa (Jacob) Boyd, and Katrina Grayson, all of Chattanooga; 11 grandchildren; mother, Mary Jane Fuqua; siblings, Sandra (Aaron) Elliott, Linda Fuqua, Robert Fuqua, all of Chattanooga, and Richard (Gasha) Fuqua of Tulsa, OK; aunts, Almetta Finnell of Chattanooga, Lucille (Willie) Wilson, Dorothy Lockett, both of Huntsville, AL, and Lorraine Ware of New York; uncle, Willie James (Clarice) Fuqua of Huntsville, AL; brothers-in-law, Larry (Yvonne) Daniels, Vincent Daniels, and Calvin (Emma) Daniels; sisters-in-law, Jacquelyn (Larry) Miles and Priscilla (Rodney) Freeman; a special thanks to Steve Williams; a host of other relatives and friends.
