Terrance Lamar Bennett, 40, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 in a local hospital. He was a 1999 graduate of Brainerd High School. He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Owens, Jr.; grandparents, Maxine Sneed, Elizabeth Dixon, Lee Gustus, Richard Bennett, and Oscar Owens, Sr.; brother, Michael Sneed; sisters, Jameika Porch and Tonya Ballard. Survivors include parents, Mary (Robert) Harris and Gregory (Betty) Dixon, Sr.; brothers, Gregory (Danielle) Dixon, Jr., Ronald (Adonis) Harris, Eric Sneed, Sr., Gary Owens, Kenneth Ray, all of Chattanooga, and Derreck Walker of Mesa, AZ; sisters, Crystal (Barnabas) Crawford, Stephanie Malone, Wanda Reed, Sheila Harris, all of Chattanooga, Tonya McCauley, Caitline Elliott, Sandra (Hank) Shelley, all of Atlanta, GA, and Lisa (Dereck) Grant of Ohio; great-aunt, Shirley (Johnny) White and other great-aunts and great-uncles; nephews, Gregory Dixon, III, Christopher Dixon, Jacobie Dixon, and Cobe Haddox; nieces, Aubrii Dixon, Kiara Dixon, Briana Crawford, DeKayla Southerns, Asya Edwards, Kentasha McCauley, Frankesha Usher; special friends, Consuela McCrobey and Maya Abernathy; and a host of aunts, uncles; cousins; other relatives and friends.
