TeQuila Lynnette Bonner's Obituary
TeQuila Lynnette "Tee-Tee" Bonner, 46, was born on May 15, 1980, in Chattanooga, TN to Forrestine Smith-Brown and Randy Brown. TeQuila departed this earthly life on June 5, 2026. TeQuila was baptized in the Christian faith and accepted Christ as her savior at a young age. TeQuila was a member of New United Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the youth ministry.
TeQuila attended the Howard School of Academics and Technology; graduating class of 1999. TeQuila was a member of Howard's Marching 100 Band, where she was 1st chair clarinet. TeQuila spent 10 years employed at Orange Grove Center where she served individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. TeQuila was a member of the Lady Swaggerz Social Club in Huntsville, AL, and president of the Lady Swaggerz Social Club that she organized and chartered in Chattanooga, TN. TeQuila was very family-oriented, positive, outgoing, humorous, and had a beautiful smile. TeQuila's presence and personality was vibrant, sweet, loving, and caring. Her unwavering faith and tenacity anchored her journey!
TeQuila was preceded in death by her grandparents, Daniel Howard Brown, Ruthie Mae Brown, Fannie P. Hughes, and Percy Plummer; uncles, Howard Bernard Brown, and Gregory Bernard Smith.
TeQuila leaves to cherish her memory, her only daughter, Kimori Bonner; mother, Forrestine Smith-Brown; father, Randy Brown; sister, Tiffany (Demetrious) Webster; niece, Ahmya Webster; nephews, Brandon Webster and Caleb Webster, all of Chattanooga, TN; aunt, Lucy (Nathaniel) Torain of Decatur, AL; uncles, Leonard (Rosie) Smith of Mesquite, TX, Jimmy (Shirley) Townsend of Chattanooga, TN; cousins, church family, and friends.
TeQuila will lie-in-state on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 12:30-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at New United Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Dr. Jeffrey T. Wilson as the Eulogist. Burial at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
