Twain Malik Colvin's Obituary
Twain “Tawon” Malik Colvin, 23, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, in a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He attended Hixson High School and was formerly employed by Burger King Restaurant. Twain was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bonnie Kaye Bledsoe; and brother, Raffel Jenkins.
Survivors include his father, Elberth (LaKisha) Colvin; mother, Eunice (Rodney) Brown; grandparents, Cornetta Royal, Joshua Burney, III, William Walker, and Frances Parks; brothers, DeJohn Colvin, Jamey Colvin, and Cornelius Jenkins; sisters, ShaLynda Hardley and Desiree Brown; uncle, Josh (Tamiko) Burney; aunts, Lois Burney (Harold) Moss and Donnella Colvin, all of Chattanooga; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; best friend, T’aira Truss; girlfriend, Jasmine Young; and other friends.
Twain will lie-in-state on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Joshua Burney, II as the Eulogist. Burial in Highland Memorial Gardens.
