Tamu LaShawn Jackson was born on September 26, 1973, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Mary L. Jackson and Jimmy Favors. She took her journey to Paradise on Monday, December 9, 2024. Tamu graduated from Howard High School with the class of 1992. “Shawn” as she was affectionately known to family and friends and was a very loving and caring person. She dearly loved her family and friends. She will lie-in-state on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel.
