Symone N. Horton's Obituary
Symone Nicole Horton, 32, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, in a local hospital. She was a graduate of Tyner High School. Symone was a member of Saint Phillips Lutheran Church. She worked for Volkswagen as a Forklift Driver. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John T. Johnson and Mary Marie Johnson; brothers, John L. Horton, Jr.; and uncle, Tony T. Johnson. Survivors include her son, Kareen Caslin, Jr. of Chattanooga; daughters, Symora Caslin and Serenity Horton, both of Chattanooga; father, John Horton, Sr. of Chattanooga; mother, Maryanne Criscoulo of Clearwater, FL; brother, Joseph Lyle Horton of Chattanooga; sisters, Jonetta (Chris) Aldridge of Chattanooga and Jessica L. Mendez of Florida; uncles, Richard Horton, Joseph Horton, both of Chattanooga, Spencer Horton of Atlanta, Tommy Johnson, and John T. Johnson, Jr., both of Chattanooga; aunt, Tonya Myers Fletcher of Chattanooga; special friend, Kato Owens; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Symone will lie-in-state on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service with follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Spencer T. Horton as the eulogist.
