Stevie DeWayne Powell, 60, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024, in a local hospital. He was formerly employed by Chattanooga Office Supply as a driver. Stevie was preceded in death by his mother, Elnora Powell Clay; daughter, Tiffoni Gary; and grandmother, Sarah Robinson. Survivors include his daughters, Stephanie Ellison and Crystal Johnson, both of Chattanooga; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; father, Richard (Hattie) Powell, Sr. of Eutaw, AL; brothers, Richard Lamar (Janet) Powell, Jr., Daryl Lebron Powell, both of Chattanooga, and Demetrius (Cynthia) Clay of Nashville, TN; sisters, Lisa Powell Bowens and Dana Denise Powell, both of Chattanooga; special aunt/mother, Ernestine Common of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; special friend, Teresa Cal and other friends. There will be no service.
