Steve A. Horton's Obituary
Steve Horton, Sr., 63, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023, in a local hospital. He attended Kirkman Technical High School. He was a member of St. Elmo Missionary Baptist Church. Steve is preceded in death by his brother, Vincent Horton. Survivors include his life partner, Donna Caudle; son, Steve Horton, Jr.; daughter, Starlisa Horton; bonus sons, Lehmon Taylor, Corey Taylor; bonus daughters, Skye Moore, Selena Perry; grandchild, Nakayla Bryant; great-grandchild, Kamari Kendrick; father, Gus L. Horton; mother, Addie Bell Horton; brothers, Gus Horton, Jr., Victor Horton; sister, Patricia Pitts; uncle, Jerry Curington; best friend, Mike T.; other relatives and friends. He will lie-in-state on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the chapel. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery.
